What WorkCue does
WorkCue is a work management app for iPhone and iPad. It helps you capture work as items, organize related items into projects, and track progress with an automatic RAG (Red / Amber / Green) status based on due dates. You can share items and projects with others, view a timeline of your work, and get notifications about activity.
Frequently asked questions
How is RAG status calculated?
Green = on track, Amber = due soon or at risk, Red = overdue. It's based on the item's target date and status, and recalculates automatically.
How do I share an item or project?
Open the item or project and tap Share. Enter an email address — the recipient is granted access to that record only.
Can I work offline?
WorkCue needs an internet connection to sync your items and projects across devices.
How do dependencies work?
In an item, set "Depends on" to link predecessors. An item's start date can't be earlier than any dependency's finish, so work that's blocked shows clearly.
How are projects completed?
When every item inside a project is marked Completed, the project completes itself automatically.
Troubleshooting
App won't load or data looks missing
Check your connection, then pull to refresh the list. If it persists, sign out and sign back in.
Can't sign in
Double-check your email and password, or use the Forgot password link to reset it.
A shared item isn't showing up
Confirm the owner shared it with the exact email address tied to your WorkCue account.
